On 18th July 2026, the Foundation for Human Security Initiative (FHSI) brought together its team for a one‘day strategic session. Staff joined both physically and online to sharpen our vision and ensure programs are rooted in community realities. A core activity was a stakeholder analysis exercise.
Why Stakeholder Analysis Matters to FHSI
Stakeholder analysis helps us identify people and institutions that shape our environment”policymakers, educators, community leaders, refugees, and youth. Understanding their interests and influence enables co-created programs that are technically sound and socially legitimate.
The July 18th Session: A Turning Point
During the session, staff mapped stakeholders across power and interest dimensions. The exercise reaffirmed our commitment to authenticity and transparency and highlighted managing powerful stakeholders closely while keeping community voices central.
A Continuous Practice
Stakeholder analysis must be revisited regularly”during strategic sessions, program design, implementation, and evaluation”to keep FHSI grounded and responsive.
Human Security and Collaboration
Human security requires cross‘sector collaboration. Stakeholder analysis provides the framework to identify who can advance human security and who must be empowered and held accountable.
Looking Ahead
The July 18th stakeholder analysis was a statement of intent: to remain authentic, transparent, and impact‘focused. By continuously engaging stakeholders, FHSI ensures our mission remains achievable and inclusive.
